The traveling Yogi

I love what I do! Everyday I get to share the benefits of yoga and mindfulness while supporting our local community and beyond through The Traveling Yogi. Right now, our virtual yoga program is the preferred method for large groups practicing yoga in a safe manner. Each class is thoughtfully designed to leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and energized – a feeling that will last long after you step off of the mat. Additionally, each of our virtual sessions contributes 10% of the earnings to a different not-for-profit organization. So far, we have supported deserving organizations such as RefuSHE (www.refushe.org), Lake County Haven (www.lakecountyhaven.org), Feeding America (www.feedingamerica.org), Classica Craftsman Foundation (www.classiccraftsmanfoundation.com), and MidAmerica Service Dogs Foundation (www.midamericaservicedogs.com).

However, using the recommended safety guidelines, The Traveling Yogi also specializes in creating your perfect “Live” yoga experience. Are you searching for a personalized private class that’s designed specifically for your needs? Or are you a business owner that is looking for a relaxing team building venture to do with your colleagues. Maybe you’re ready for a fun and unique activity to enjoy with a group of friends celebrating a rare night out? Let’s connect and talk about what kind of experience I can construct just for you. I incorporate my clients’ preferences into all of my custom services to seamlessly bring you the class, workshop, party or event that fits your specific wants and needs.

A little bit about me:

I’m a seasoned yoga teacher who loves sharing the transformative effects of yoga with others to help them realize their fullest potential. As a teenager, I was first introduced to yoga by my dad to use as a complement to my blended martial arts training. My personal yoga practice continued to support me through college, through my Ph.D. work at The University of Chicago, and through my transition to the role of wife and mom before I was inspired to complete my 200hr teacher training (along with numerous other certifications) with my mom! Through it all, I consistently observed that the principles I practice on the yoga mat significantly influence me off of it. They allow me to navigate life’s challenges with as much grace and authenticity as I can while rediscovering my innate radiance and boundless potential. As my light burns brighter so does my desire to show others how they can use yoga to rediscover their own beautiful light and live life to the fullest. It was this desire that launched the creation of The Traveling Yogi after a decade of teaching experience. Join our virtual community anytime, find out more on the website
